Books of 2009
February 19th, 2010
I kind of forgot about this list – but then I found it again! Here are all the books I read in 2009, in general chronological order. And of course I had to look at last year’s post along the same lines. It looks like I read fewer books in 2009, which surprised me. And I have to mention a few favorites; the Uglies series, The Time Traveler’s Wife, A Christmas Carol, and Unexpected Blessings.
If you want to read my thoughts on each book, find me on goodreads.com! I’d love to be friends. Goodreads is awesome because I get so many ideas for books to read. And more importantly, I have a list so I don’t forget what I want to read!

As you’ve probably noticed, I’m a little bit addicted to Goodreads.
I love reading your recommendations! A Tree Grows in Brooklyn is one of my all-time favorite books. So good!
I love that book as well – it was great. Really, there were a lot of books I really liked this year!
In Cold Blood is pretty intense! I had to stop reading it actually, but that’s just because I’m a wuss.
I know, Diana, I love getting your updates!
#20 – The Body Broken is an excellent read. I was touched and inspired by it.
Great list!
[...] Every year, I like to take a little retrospective on my reading — it’s fun to remember all the good books & get an overall sense of my reading. If you’re interested in my thoughts on these books, you can ask & I’ll tell you OR you can be my friend on Goodreads.com (comment here & I’ll email you my info). I post my opinions on books after I read them & really, I get all my ideas of books to read from there. I have friends & family on the site, and seeing what they liked, hated, & loved really guides my own reading. [...]
